Music ! music!! music!!!. why is music so important in the lives of our children?. Many parents underestimate the power of music in the lives of children today ,but the truth is that music is extremely important. Music is certainly an important part of our lives. It is introduced to us even before we are born. We hear it everyday and everywhere. Teaching music to the kids helps in them thinking higher .Active engagement with music helps in children’s encoding of linguistic sounds. It also encourages children in their learning, increases emotional sensitivity, and enhances the development of physical skills . Music has inspiring and promoting nature in the life of children. According to Plato, he said “I would teach children music, physics, philosophy; but most importantly music, for the patterns in music and all the arts are the keys to learning”. Infact, there are many uses of music that can help in child development ,and that is why music is certainly a powerful tool in the lives of our young ones today.
